We sat down and the waitress met us promptly and got our drink order and I asked did they have a menu. Checkered table cloths and the smell of pizza all around. When we arrived the place was exactly what I had hoped for it specialized in nothing other than pizza. We read quite a few and decide this is the place. So I decide to google best pizza in New Orleans and Tower of Pizza comes up with 73 reviews. I recommend the place!Ģ104 Veterans Memorial Blvd.So my wife and I were sitting at the children's school waiting for them to be dismissed and we were trying to figure out where to eat pizza since we both live in Houston. The meatballs had just the right breadcrumb to meat ratio for my taste. Served with a very fresh piece of French bread. The spaghetti and meatballs were also a winner. The pizza was excellent and they got it out to us pretty quick! Great crust and generous toppings. And the small was plenty enough for the two of us. Lettuce and artichoke with a very light dressing. She happens to be a certified New Orleans Italian too. I messaged a friend of mine after we ordered who loves this place, and told her we were dining here. We decided to split a small artichoke salad, the Tower Supreme Pizza, and an order of spaghetti and meatballs. There’s enough pressure and decisions to be made in life. Just do a few things but do them right! They also only have ONE house salad dressing. They won’t hand you a menu when you’re seated because it’s posted on the wall for everyone to see. If you happen to be a New Orleans Saints, or Louisiana State University football fan, you can shop for sports paraphernalia before or after your meal. It’s located in a small strip mall right next to the Black & Gold and Purple & Gold store. Tonight we happened to be in the pizza mood and in the area, so we decided to stop in.
This place is on the very busy main drag through Metairie, so I’ve driven past it countless times.
